PDF file Nontraditional Career Day

The WCWI initiated the first Nontraditional Career Day in 2006 in response to Wyoming having the largest wage disparity by gender in the U.S. Over 540 young women participated last year.

Nontraditional Career Day is free to all girls grades 9-12 in Wyoming. The purpose of the event is to show young Wyoming women well-paying, nontraditional careers that exist in this state. Traditionally, many of these jobs are not ones that are associated with women. Watch for details about the 2009 here on this web site!
