The Wyoming Council for Women's Issues provides information regarding legal rights and responsibilities of women in the state of Wyoming and provides legal information on topics relevant to women.
In addition, the WCWI monitors the legislative process and the information regarding changes in state legislation. These Legislative Committee Updates can be found in our quarterly newsletters.
Legislative Update 2007 - The Wyoming Council for Women’s Issues will be following the legislative session and bills that are of interest to the women and children of Wyoming. For legislative information be sure to check back on this page.
Legal Handbook for Women (1st edition - 2002) A handbook for women, which contains information about topics relevant to women, children and families in Wyoming. The topics include Wills, Adoption, Education, Consumer Protection and Fair Credit, Domestic Relations, Government Benefits, Housing and Property Rights, Insurance, Name Changes, Public Accommodations, Reproductive Rights, and Violence Against Women and Children. A Student's Guide to Sexual Harassment New version (revised May 2006) - A pamphlet for secondary and postsecondary students in Wyoming to educate them on their rights and responsiblities regarding sexual harassment. WCWI members distribute this guide to middle schools and high schools throughout Wyoming.
