Nominations being accepted for Woman of Distinction Award

CHEYENNE, Wyo.- The Wyoming Council for Women’s Issues (WCWI) is accepting nominations through March 31 for the 2005 Wyoming Woman of Distinction Award.

“Nominees should have had a significant impact on women and families in our society,” said WCWI Chairperson Michelle Aldrich. “We’re confident there is no shortage of deserving women in this state that qualify for this award.”

Individuals or organizations may submit nominations. To request a nomination form and specific guidelines call Michelle Aldrich at 307-433-0837 or access the information on-line at http://wyomingbusiness.org/women. Honorees will be recognized at a special ceremony in late summer or early fall.

The Wyoming Council for Women’s Issues is a 13-member council with representation from each of the nine Judicial Districts in addition to four at large members and one ex-officio member of the Wyoming Business Council. The WCWI is a Governor appointed council.
